HOW LONG DO YOU WORK AS A PHOTOGRAPHER?
I’ve been a professional photographer for 18 years. While travelling around Thailand on my scooter, I took countless photos of local children with my first camera. By chance, I met a Thai artist named Pui, who saw my photographs and encouraged me to begin a career in photography.
HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PICTURES?
I provide you with an online personalized gallery which is password protected. It’s very convenient to use: you can download pictures on your computer, phone, or send to your relatives and friends.
WE’RE CAMERA-SHY. DO YOU HELP WITH POSING?
It’s completely normal to feel shy in front of the camera - most people do! My goal is always to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I’ll gently guide you and help with posing, but I never push you into anything that doesn’t feel natural for you. I love leaving space for real, sincere emotions, because those true, effortless moments are always the most beautiful.
HOW MANY PICTURES CAN WE EXPECT AND WILL YOU EDIT THEM?
The general rule of thumb is to expect a turnaround time of almost 8 to 10 weeks. This may vary, depending on the size and season of your wedding festivities. On average, around 50 pictures are clicked per hour on the wedding day.
After taking the pictures, I make a qualitative selection of your images, finalizing them for special touch-ups. The final touchup includes adjustment of lightening and contrast and alignment of your pictures with special attention to natural retouching. You will receive your images in high resolution in digital .jpg format.
ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR TRAVEL?
Absolutely yes! During the summer, I’m based in beautiful Ghent, Belgium, and for the rest of the year you’ll find me by the ocean near Lisbon, Portugal. This lifestyle allows me to easily travel across Europe and capture weddings in all kinds of beautiful places. I truly love discovering new destinations and telling love stories far beyond borders.
